Last weekend saw me travel to Chippenham for the wedding of Marsha and Stephen. We were blessed with beautiful sunshine which, with a  lovely couple surrounded by family and friends, made for a truly memorable day. Everything went according to plan, the ceremony ran smoothly, little Alex was on her best behaviour, and best man Luke overcame his nerves to deliver a highly entertaining speech. I’ve had a tough time selecting which images to include in the preview – I guess that must mean I’m doing something right….

(By the way, check out the figurine on the cake! Genius!)

I was very impressed with Chippenham Registry Office – unlike most registry offices in Wiltshire it is remarkably well-furnished and light, with a tasteful colour scheme and some nice furniture. I would recommend it as a wedding venue for any couple looking for an alternative to the traditional church wedding. However, Wiltshire wedding photographers take note – photographs are only allowed during key parts of the ceremony such as the exchanging of rings and the kiss. Still, whilst the photography rules are perhaps a little more strict than other places, Chippenham Registry Office is definitely one of the nicest Registry Offices in Wiltshire and has some great photographic potential.
