Another local wedding for me, Rosa & Phuc were married at St Lawrence’s Church, Stratford-sub-castle. The church was packed with over 120 guests who had come to share in the couple’s special day. The reception was held at the parent’s house, a short walk from the church. In an innovative twist on the traditional receiving line, each guest was given a balloon on arrival at the venue which was then popped by the newlyweds after they had greeted them, leaving guests to enjoy the champagne reception whilst ensuring they talk to each and every person.
A beautiful sunny day for Rosa and Phuc’s wedding at St Lawrence’s church, Stratford-sub-castle…
As the guests began to arrive there were few nerves and a lot of laughs
It was a beautiful ceremony in a quaint, intimate church
Then it was back a short walk down the road to the reception venue, where guests were given balloons which were popped as the happy couple greeted them, a nice change from the traditional receiving line
The allure of the England game was too much for some
But the earphones came out for the speeches, which were among some of the best I’ve heard
A fantastic day was had by all and the dancing went on late into the night. Phuc and Rosa are a fantastic couple and have a bright future ahead of them. My best wishes to you both!
Are you looking for a wedding photographer in Salisbury? As a Wiltshire wedding photographer I simply love shooting weddings in Salisbury. Salisbury is a quaint little town full of character and life. I should know as I was lucky enough to spend seven years of my life there at Bishop Wordsworth’s School, one of the finest schools in Wiltshire. Despite having lived in both London and Barcelona, Salisbury and Wiltshire will always be a special place for me. If you would like to see further examples of my wedding photography in Wiltshire please also see photographs from the wedding of Jennifer and Owen at St Mary’s church, Shrewton, as well as the wedding of Marsha and Stephen at Chippenham Registry Office.
