This weekend it was off to Dorset for Liz and Jonathan’s wedding at Stockbridge Farm Barn. It was in many ways a simple wedding; a short registrar-conducted service, self-fashioned dress, fish and chips for dinner and dessert courtesy of an ice-cream van! It has to be said though, it was wonderful to see the day stripped down to basics, bringing to the fore the important things that are sometimes lost in the glitz and glamour of an extravagant wedding. The effort put into planning and preparation was evident in the way the day flowed effortlessly and enjoyably with family, friends and guests having a fantastic time.

Stockbridge Farm Barn was an inspired choice of venue, providing an atmospheric centre for the day’s celebrations. Heavy downpour failed to dampen spirits as guests sheltered in the warmth of the expansive barn and the party continued into the night.
